About Crossroads
Annandale & Eskdale

Caring for people in Annandale & Eskdale since 1978

Who We Are

The Crossroads model emerged in the early 1970s, inspired by a Crossroads television storyline that highlighted the realities faced by family carers. The first scheme was established in Rugby in 1973, and the first Scottish scheme began in 1977. We build on that legacy locally in Annandale & Eskdale through personalised, relationship-led support.

With over 40 years of experience supporting individuals and families across Scotland, Crossroads has grown from small, local care services into a trusted national organisation known for high- quality, highly regulated care. Here in Annandale & Eskdale, we remain true to our roots — delivering personalised support through a small, friendly local team dedicated to making life more comfortable, independent and fulfilling for the people in our community.
